Maintaining Your Certification

Maintenance of Certification (MOC) provides a structured program to help physicians know they are keeping their medical knowledge current.

The process is simple. To maintain certification, a physician must participate in educational and quality improvement activities that earn at least 100 MOC points every five years and pass a knowledge assessment by the deadline indicated in Physician Portal.

Physicians maintaining an interventional cardiology certification must also complete an attestation.
